Castlemania is a family-run bouncy castle and party hire business based in Mountrath, Co. Laois, Ireland. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. You can reach us at info@castlemaniabouncycastles.com or 089 415 6419.
When you contact us through our enquiry form, by phone, email, WhatsApp or Facebook, we collect the details you choose to give us. That normally means your name, phone number, email address, event date and delivery address.
All bookings are taken over the phone. Our online availability checker only takes your chosen unit and dates; any personal details needed to fulfil the hire (your name, phone number and delivery address) are collected when you call us to book.
We also collect basic, anonymous analytics about how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. This is aggregated and does not identify you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business: our online booking and payments provider, our website host, and our email provider. Each processes data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
If you contact us by WhatsApp or Facebook, that conversation is also subject to the privacy policy of the platform you used.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our booking widget and our privacy-friendly analytics may set essential or anonymous storage needed to work correctly. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though the booking form may not work properly if you do.
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for 6 years, as required by Irish tax law. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email info@castlemaniabouncycastles.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Please do not send us a child's details beyond what is needed for the booking, such as a name for a cake.
